Sustainability

Sustainability guides our choices — from the garments we select to how each item is produced and delivered.

We work exclusively with Printful eco-friendly products that contain certified organic or recycled materials, and choose styles that meet recognised third-party standards for environmental and social responsibility.

To verify material content, Printful collects valid certification documentation directly from suppliers. As proof of the organic composition of the apparel products, only GOTS or OCS certificates are accepted. For recycled composition, they accept either GRS or RCS certificates.

All products are made to order to reduce overproduction and unnecessary waste. Approximately 21% of retail clothing goes unsold and into landfills - a reality we aim to avoid by producing only what is needed.

Our designs are inspired by the natural environment of the Wild Atlantic Way in West Cork, Ireland — the sea, mountains, forests, flora, and wildlife that shape our everyday surroundings.

What our certifications mean

We rely on recognised third-party standards to verify material content, environmental practices, and social responsibility.

GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard

This is the gold standard for organic textiles.

GOTS means:

✅ The cotton must be truly organic

  • Grown without synthetic pesticides or GMOs
  • Protects soil, water and biodiversity
  • Traceable from farm → final product

✅ The WHOLE production is checked

Not just the cotton — also:

  • Dyeing & printing chemicals
  • Wastewater treatment
  • Energy use
  • Worker safety

✅ Social responsibility is included

Factories must follow:

  • Fair wages
  • Safe working conditions
  • No child labor
  • No forced labor

GOTS ensures environmental + chemical + social sustainability across the supply chain.

OCS – Organic Content Standard

OCS verifies:

  • The product actually contains the percentage of organic cotton claimed
  • The material is tracked through the supply chain
  • No fake “organic” marketing

There are two levels:

  • OCS 100 – product is 95–100% organic
  • OCS Blended – contains a mix with verified organic portion

OCS means proof of authentic organic content.

  • Better for sensitive wearers

🤝 Ethical standards are considered

  • Workers protected

Printing & Production

All garments are printed by Printful using modern direct-to-garment (DTG) technology.

  • DTG printing allows for precise, low-waste production
  • Many of the inks used in Printful’s processes are OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they are tested for harmful substances and are safe for contact with skin
  • Each item is produced only when ordered, helping to reduce excess stock and textile waste

Packaging & Fulfilment

  • Orders are shipped in post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging wherever available
  • Printful fulfils orders from locations closest to the customer when possible, helping to reduce transport distances

Our Commitment

Sustainability is an ongoing process, not a finished claim.

We regularly review our materials, suppliers, and production methods to ensure they align with evolving best practices and the values that guide our brand.

By choosing certified organic and recycled products that are made to order, we aim to offer clothing that is considered, responsible, and crafted to last.
